Howdy Marlin Families,

What a great season we are having!  So many great memories the kids are making and hopefully as parents we are making new connections and enjoying the experience as well!!  We are definitely in the home stretch! Upcoming this next week we have the following. 

HOME B MEET Wednesday - This is the final home Meet this season and we need all hands on deck, literally!  Many of you have been volunteering every meet, so we really need to give those who haven’t had chance to step up to fulfill their commitments.  Go to QVMarlins.com to choose your volunteer position or text me to let me know what you’d like to do. 2402712068 THANKS!

Stroke and Turn Judges - 2 (MCSL CERTIFIED POSITION)

Head Timer - make sure all Timers are in place and ready, make eye contact with the referee, start  two watches and replace anyone whose watch isn’t running on time in 3 of the 6 lanes.

Timers - 7 

Cafe Cashier - collect money for concessions and other team items

Concessions - 3 (arrive early to help Eliane prepare food, serve food and help with clean up of kitchen and supppies

Sno Cone -2 serve and cones throughout the meet.

Grill Master - arrive early to set up grill area with supplies and all that entails.  Cook fries, burgers and hotdogs. Remain after and oversee the clean up of the grill area and supplies

Grill Assistant-2  cook fries or burgers and dogs and transport them to to cafe inside community center.  Assist Grill Master with clean up of area and supplies.

Ribbons - Attach stickers to back of ribbons and file in team Envelopes

Runners - 2 Collect  timer sheets from timers and DQ slips from referee and deliver to automation after each race

B-RELAYS - Thursday evening at North Creek pool

I am recommending the volunteers for this meet.  I currently need 2 Timers, 1 Side Take-off Judge, and 1 Opposite end take off judge. (You will be given instructions regarding each of these jobs).  If your child is not in A Relays or is only in ONE relay you will definitely be included in B Relays.
