Howdy Marlins,What an incredible A-Relay memory we made this past Sunday!! Way to swim, Marlins!! On another note, we are so disappointed that the weather did not cooperate for us to hold our B meet Tuesday night! Thanks for all who came out, volunteered, waited patiently with us. If you ordered a shirt through the link above, please sign the form on deck so we know to collect your money and what size to distribute to you at Divisionals.Please note that:
- Each T-Shirt requires a separate entry. If you are ordering more than one shirt, please submit a NEW form for each item.
- You will pay your team rep for your shirt. The shirts will be delivered to your team rep on the deck at divisionals for distribution.
- We strongly suggest that you order early to assure your size is available.
- Shirts may be available on the day of divisionals but sizing and quantities will be limited.
- Pre-Orders are due by 7/17/2018.
Potluck - Friday, July 6 @ 6:00One of the purposes of the weekly potluck is to carb load the kids for their swim meet Saturday morning. If you are bringing a main dish, we suggest it be some type of heavy and complex carb like a pasta or rice dish! Thanks everyone! A-Meet @ Plantations - see Ashani 's e-mail for detailsTHEME: PiratesArrive @ 8am and check in with the coachesDRY TEAM NEEDS: 4A Swim Meet (Lisa Hafer sends very informative emails for this)UPCOMING EVENTSB-Meet @ Flower Hill -Wednesday, July 11 - see Ashani's email next weekB-Relays @ Lake Marion - Thursday, July 12 - volunteers have been pre-assigned for this meet except for Clerk of Course and Automation.North Creek Long Course - Sunday, July 15th - see the information on the bulletin board at the pool. The purpose of the long course is to give as many swimmers as possible a long course experience. The events are the same as the normal MSCL swim meet, free, back, breast, and fly events, but double the distance and there are no Individual Medley events. We also provide a 400 free style relay, and an ΒopenΒ Alumni/Adult/Coach race. The list of events will be on the bulletin board at the pool along with a sign up sheet. I will need sign up and money by Thursday, the 12th at B-Relays.Secret Psych (OPTIONAL, but FUN!!): Secret Psych was created to build excitement leading up to the Divisional meet on the Saturday following the final A meet, but it's not required that a swimmer be swimming in Divisionals to participate.HOW IT WORKS: the Monday after the final A-meet, July 16th, the coaches will have the swimmers who wish to participate draw a name. They are then the Secret Psych of the swimmer whose name they draw. They will then provide gifts for three days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) for their person.Thursday and Friday they will deliver their gift to the community center with the name clearly obvious, but they must be sneaky so they don't get caught! :) Saturday, they will either surprise their person by handing it to them in person at Divisionals or at the End of Year Picnic that evening.We will have some examples of past gift ideas for you to see soon!
